Theory Syllabus	Art – drawing and painting Various shapes and forms Ideas, visualization and implementation Counter sketching Jewellery Designing Bringing ideas into commercial use Types of gemstone cuts Gemstone settings Types of metals Sketching and rendering designs Colour and its importance and use Drawing concepts and their modifications Portfolio making
Re-Examination	Unsuccessful students wishing to re-appear for the next examination will have to pay the examination fees of Rs. 1,000/-.
Practicals	Practicals are planned with a view to creating and conceiving new designs for domestic and international markets.
Attendance	100% attendance is compulsory.
Certificate	On successful completion of the course a Diploma is awarded.
