It is my privilege to be here today to propose a vote of thanks on this occasion of the Convocation and Seminar. First of all my hearty congratulations to the recipients of the “GII Star Mitra Award” instituted by GII.
It is your support and inspiration that gives us the strength to serve the industry efficiently. I thank each and every organization especially the GJEPC, DEAL, MDMA, GJEA, and BDB for their wholehearted support and cooperation to GII in fulfilling its goals.
We are ever grateful to Dr. Lore Kiefert for accepting our invitation and coming to Mumbai all the way from Switzerland.
I am sure that the Indian Industry and our young gemologist who graduated today will immensely benefit from your presentation on Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald in the next few hours. We are grateful to Shri Rajivji for accepting our invitation and making it convenient to come here from Jaipur to grace the occasion. We thank you very much for your presence at the function and your valuable advice and guidance are of great value to all of us.
The Coloured stone industry in India is at a crossroads. It has to face a number of challenges to compete in the world markets, To address the challenges country needs progressive and pragmatic people like Rajivji. I therefore request Rajivji to take maximum interest in the field of various gemological activities.
